Wired Inclinometer, Variable Gage Face Mount

Model DP6X16K2
The basic principal of operation is the utilization of MEMS (Micro-Electro- Mechanical Systems) inclinometer node sensors to make accurate measurements of inclination at discrete points where each inclinometer node Sensor is located.
MEMS tilt sensors are low-cost, robust, and virtually immune to shock loading. They operate over a wide angular
range, with high sensitivity
aluminum housing and includes an
aluminum mounting bracket. The
bracket is affixed to the structure
using the supplied hardware.
Sensors can be combined in a string
and electrically connected by a
four-wire bus cable. Each sensor is
connected during field installation.
The cable from the endmost sensor
connects the string to the chosen
readout (PC, datalogger, SCADA
system, etc.).
The output from the string consists
of calibrated tilt readings and
temperatures for each sensor, which
can be easily imported into MS Excel,
or any data visualization software, and
with known gage lentghs, calculate displacement
of the node from a fixed end point without the
need to convert raw data into engineering units
